The Jewish Newsletter is the voice of the New Orleans Jewish community.  It is a source for  news about the New Orleans Jewish community, its people and organizations.  It provides national and international news of Jewish interest and is a forum for comment by community members on matters of Jewish concern.

The Jewish News welcomes news from synagogues and Jewish agencies and organizations. Your news is important as well.  Whenever you have a life-cycle event or news of a personal achievement, e-mail that info to the editor.

In 2002, The Jewish News received a Rockower Award for Excellence in Jewish Journalism from the American Jewish Press Association and in 2003 it won an award in the General News category from the Press Club of New Orleans.
