Edie & Paul Rosenblum Gift of Israel Program
Contact: Rachelle Stein
The Edie and Paul Rosenblum Gift of Israel Program is a savings program in which families work in partnership with the Jewish Federation and their synagogue to provide teens an opportunity to take an educational trip to Israel. Most teenagers travel to Israel in the summer following 10th grade, but the funds can be used up to age 23.
Families deposit $200 a year for eight years (3rd-10th grade), the Federation commits an additional amount of $250 annually, and participating synagogues add $50 for each year the child is enrolled in the Savings Plan. In addition through the Gift of Israel Savings Registry, family members and friends can make contributions to each child’s account, a perfect Bar/Bat Mitzvah gift.
