JCRS Has Scholarship Aid & Gift Cards for Families

Jewish Children's Regional Service has funds for college aid, overnight Jewish

camp, and special needs funding for Jewish youth, as well as gift cards for

families. Time is running out to find a place at camp!  College aid applications

are beginning to pile up!

Jewish families with children have a unique opportunity this summer to make

use of ongoing and new service opportunities through the Jewish Children's

Regional Service. Funds are available for the following:

1) Complete or almost complete funding for an overnight camp experience at a

     Jewish, non-profit camp. There is no family means test and only, a one-page

      scholarship application process, if you are a family that has been impacted

      by the 2005 Gulf Coast Hurricanes, Katrina and Rita.

2) Financial assistance for an undergraduate college education, based on a

     family's  overall financial circumstances. Most awards are grants.

3) Special assistance to families with a special needs child, who needs specific

     services and/or appliances that the family can not afford.

4) Department store gift cards to families with children who are struggling to

     provide basic needs.
