Jewish Family Service hiring Executive Director
Jewish Family Service of Greater New Orleans (JFS) seeks a strong, innovative leader to build upon 60+ years of agency success providing social and mental health services to the community with special emphasis on the needs of the Jewish community. The Executive Director (ED) oversees all aspects of the agency’s operations.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hire, supervise, direct, and evaluate staff

• Collaborate to create, plan, execute, monitor, and evaluate Agency programs

• Cultivate and solicit sponsorships and individual donations

• Identify and develop new funding sources while strengthening relationships with donors and grantors

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MSW or masters degree from an accredited program in a relevant field

• Minimum of five years experience in a social service or community agency

• Comprehensive management skills and experience required

• Knowledge of Jewish values, traditions and ethics

• Experience working with a non-profit board of directors
