The entire Jewish community and all of our multi-faith partners are encouraged to volunteer in the Jewish Federation Nourish program's 2019 "Community Mitzvah Day" - a day of service to help those in need. Service projects begin at 12:30 and will include tree planting, mulching, and trash pickup in the Couturie Forest at City Park.  At 2:00 a tree in memory of Pittsburgh synagogue Tree of Life victims will be planted.  The family activities of games, crafts, music and face painting will be 2:30 – 4:30. Pizza will be served. Kosher options will be available.
