Looking for a faith which offers timeless truths, tenacious hope and comfort and purpose in this world? Temple Sinai invites you to consider Reform Judaism. We offer a fascinating Introduction to Judaism Class, free of charge, which begins on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 9:30 AM. Informal classes, lasting 75 minutes each, will be personally taught by Temple Sinai’s warm and gifted Teacher, Rabbi Matthew Reimer. There will be no tests, no homework, no stress – only presentations and discussions between friends. Just inspiration!

This is an informal seminar open to anyone interested in exploring Judaism – interfaith couples, those considering conversion, and Jews who are looking for a refresher into the faith of their birth.

Class members will enjoy a glimpse into the fundamentals of Jewish belief, thought and practice from a distinctly Reform Jewish perspective. Temple Sinai, located at 6227 St. Charles Avenue, is Louisiana’s largest Synagogue and the first Reform Jewish Congregation, founded in 1870. This class will open for its students the majesty of Jewish theology, prayer, holiday observances and life cycle rituals. All you need to do is to register today by calling the Temple Sinai office at 504-861-3693 and let us know to save you a seat.

A warm welcome and a tasty bagel each Sunday morning awaits you at this dynamic Synagogue – Temple Sinai – “A Sanctuary for All People.”
