How many times have you heard or said "It goes by so fast"? We often find ourselves attempting to balance careers, personal pursuits, and family, wishing we had more time. We want the time we spend with our children to be meaningful, uninterrupted by the stress of our to-do lists. Mindful parenting allows us to be present moment to moment, open-hearted, non-judgmental, and to experience ourselves and our children as we really are. By practicing mindfulness, we model for our children how to be emotionally present, and to choose how to respond to the world around us. Mindful parenting reminds us to notice the joy in small moments, and enhances our connection with our children.
