JFS is preparing for the 33rd Annual Passover Food Distribution, This event is a collaboration of donors, staff, board members, synagogues, New Orleans-area Jewish agencies and dedicated volunteers who provide over 100 baskets of Passover food and ritual objects to individuals in need in our community. Many of the recipients are elderly or people with disabilities, and for some it is the only contact that they have all year with other members of the Jewish community.
