Did you know that under current law, Louisiana is one of only two states that allows for felony convictions by non-unanimous juries?

Join us for a panel discussion on this critical issue, followed by a screening of the 1957 movie "12 Angry Men," starring Henry Fonda.

The panel will feature members of the Unanimous Jury Coalition discussing Amendment #2 on November's ballot, which if passed will require unanimous jury verdicts in all felony trials in Louisiana.

Panel Moderator:
Aaron Ahlquist, ADL (Regional Director, South Central Region)
Panelists:
Kia Hall Hayes, Innocence Project New Orleans (Staff Attorney);
Norris Henderson, Unanimous Jury Coalition (State Director);
Mithun Kamath, Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans (Staff Counsel / Director of Governmental Affairs & External Partnerships);
William Snowden, Vera Institute of Justice (Director, New Orleans)
