The Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans has partnered with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and the Steeg Family Foundation to recognize and honor an outstanding local Jewish educator. Rabbi Robert Loewy chaired the selection committee, and the inaugural honoree is Lauren Ungar, Director of Admissions/ Enrollment, Families & Community Manager for Jewish Community Day School. Ms. Ungar receives $1,000 to be utilized towards a future educational endeavor of her choosing. Incoming Federation CEO will welcome guests, and Dr. Scott Cowen, President Emeritus of Tulane University, will speak.
