Brit Milah - Circumcision

Brit Milah, the covenant of circumcision, is the oldest, specifically Jewish commandment. It is symbolic of the covenant that God established with Abraham and thus with the Jewish people. The Brit is held on the eighth day after birth, even if it falls on Shabbat or a holiday. A mohel is specially trained to perform this delicate ritual.

This local physician has completed a certification program of the Reform Jewish movement and serves as a Reform Jewish mohel.
