New Orleans has a small, but mighty selection of kosher restaurants that we’re excited to highlight. Be mindful of Shabbat for all but one, and head out and enjoy the different tastes and styles these delightful restaurants have to offer!

 

 

 

Waffles on Maple – this delicious restaurant opened in 2012 and offers sweet, savory, and custom-made kosher waffles. They’re even gluten free upon request! Now that they have expanding to Metairie, these enticing waffles are easily accessible to all.

 

 

 

Café Du Monde – you didn’t know? Yes, those beignets we all know and love are actually kosher! Certified by a Rabbi in New Orleans, the beignets continue to attract Jewish locals and visitors. Cafe Du Monde is open 24 hours a day so head out and curb your cravings around the clock!

 

 

 

HK NOLA – founded in 2010, HK NOLA serves kosher, organic foods and drinks that are locally sourced when available. They also have gluten free and vegan options on the menu and in the bakery. Head Uptown to Tulane Hillel to try one of their classics.

 

 

 

Kosher Cajun NY Deli & GroceryKosher Cajun brings NY deli favorites down to New Orleans! They operate a deli, grocery, and also offer catering. You can find them out in Metairie only a few minutes away from the JCC.

 

 

 

Casablanca Restaurant – Serving authentic, kosher Middle Eastern and Moroccan fare, Casablanca has been around since 1995. If you’re looking for more restaurants with a Middle Eastern flare, try Shaya, 1000 Figs, Lebanon's Cafe, or The Fat Falafel – not certified kosher but still delicious!
